Time to Wake Up

Getting there

Getting there

For many of us this Spring has been a long time coming. Winter started early, ended late, and was more than present from beginning to end. It turned cold earlier than normal, it was colder than usual, and the storms were weekly and relentless. In our neck of the woods Old Man Winter had one final blow out sale just when we thought Spring was about to start.

Now Spring is finally in the air. The temperatures are above zero on a regular basis, the snow is gone, and there are signs of new life and growth. There are blades of grass popping up, crocuses are showing themselves, the birds are chirping, and the winter clothing can now be put away.

Mary wanted to remind us that this is the perfect time to reconnect with the things that are important to us. It’s the perfect time to reconnect with nature, to start digging in the soil again, it’s time to revisit the lakes, rivers and oceans, and it’s time to reconnect with our loved ones who may have hibernated this winter.

So get out and enjoy what nature has to offer…clean air, flowing water, little critters, and the love of each other.

…and this is according to Mary.
