Yes, that’s right we breath in 23,000 breathes of air every day. I haven’t counted them personally, but I did look it up online. Imagine how many of those take place indoors. In your home, in your apartment, in your car, in your office or place of employment, in your school, in a mall. Just given the way we live our lives the answer has to be “the majority”.
So Mary wanted to remind us to embrace nature. She wants us to seek out those places where the air is as clean and clear as it can be. Look for wide open spaces. Look for wooded areas. Any place where there is a lot of vegetation, or close to water. Any place that has a natural filtration system. Fill those lungs with the purity of fresh clean air. Your body, your heart and your mind will thank you for it!
Our next message from Mary had to do with the wonderful scent of Fall foliage. Fall is not only a beautiful sight to enjoy and heal from but a beautiful scent to connect with too. Scott and I were walking in our local Park a few weeks ago enjoying the multi- color leaves that magically captured our sight. But I said to Scott there is something else here to enjoy. I immediately began to smell the leaves on a whole different level and connect with them. It was a feeling of peace and beauty. I had never really appreciated the scent of the fall leaves too. Sure enough the next day Mary channeled to us this message. I guess Mary was on our walk too! So before Fall is over get to a park or woods to enjoy the scent too!
…So in a recent message from Mary she connected me with the sounds of nature…as I closed my eyes and started the channeling process I could hear the birds in the garden…the playful and lyrical chirping noises of the various birds that live in the neighbourhood…the chickadees…the blue jays…the doves…the robins…the starlings…they all seemed to arrive at the same time and strike up a chorus.
Their music was beautiful…and what an amazing way to connect with nature. It was a great opportunity to let go of my thoughts and troubles and embrace the natural sounds that this earth provides us on a daily basis… if we just allow ourselves to listen. Replace those man made sounds that pollute the airwaves with what nature can provide. It’s healthy, it’s therapeutic, it reduces stress and helps us focus and connect with our hearts.
..so take a few minutes this weekend and throughout the week…turn off the music…leave your mobile devices behind…disconnect from the sounds of traffic and the noise in the city…find a nice quiet place to walk and listen to the sounds of nature…listen to the birds…the ducks…the waves…the babbling brook…the winds…the sounds of crunching leaves below your feet…and take a loved one to enjoy it with you. I guarantee time will stand still!!!
How are you feeling today? Are you feeling a little lost? A little distant perhaps? It seems to be going around.
In a recent message from Mary she wanted to let us know that she recognises these feelings in many of us and she wants to provide a bit of guidance. Look inside…look to your heart…focus…search for what you know is right…search for love…search for truth…search for kindness…focus on the things that will allow you to connect with yourself, connect with the Earth…connect with love.
Look for ways to ground yourself by going barefoot in nature. Grounding allows you to connect with nature and absorb electrons from the Earth through the soles of your feet, which help your mood and help you heal.
Look for ways to distance yourself from the distractions that seem to take over that part of us that really knows what happiness looks like. Too often we fill the void, and moments of silence with useless stimulation when we should be taking that time to connect with our hearts and produce a higher vibration…produce love…and share that love. Instead we chase those shiny objects that divert our attention from the core of who we really are, and from our real purpose…which of course is…we are beings of truth…beings of love…with the unlimited ability to care for others and make this a better world.
One of the problems with living in an area with four distinct seasons is that there is a risk that you will start living in denial. Summers in our neck of woods seem to go by way too quickly and recently “C” and I have been denying that summer is actually over and have been spending each weekend at the beach dipping our toes in the water…pushing the summer envelop as long as we can.
Reality is here and more importantly so is autumn. It is time for us to embrace the fall. The leaves have changed and they are spectacular. The vivid colours are amazing. The reds, the yellows, the oranges, the earth tones…they are all simply breathtaking.
In a recent message from Mary she wanted to remind us of how beautiful nature can be in many parts of the world during the fall…and that we should be out embracing the change of seasons…drink in the colours…they are more healing than you think…there is just something about the energy of this time of year…you need to embrace it…breath it in…connect with mother earth…recognize that making this connection can change your state of mind and increase your vibrations…enjoy it and don’t deny yourself the beauty and love that nature is providing us during this short time frame as the leaves start to fall.
Take your loved ones out and enjoy it together before it is too late.
