A Great Way To Reduce Stress

DSC_0478

Today’s message from Mary is once again about nature but a different take on it. She wants you to know the joy in Mother Nature to heal us and raise our vibration. Scott and I have this local city park we visit and the birds are so used to humans they jump right up on the pathway asking for a  food not the least bit afraid. We just laugh so hard every time these ducks approach us.  We figure they want some French fries or something very human. They are not afraid of us in the least. Birds in the wild of course watch us very care fully and we  are quite shocked when these ducks jump up looking for food. We are raising our vibration here  just by getting the simpler things in life like a walk in the park.  Laughter too raises our vibration. Another joy in the winter has been checking kitty cat tracks in the snow in my backyard to see who has been by to visit. Mary just wants to remind you today  of this instant created  joy moment from Mother Nature and is a great way to alleviate stress, raise our vibration and heal us.

The Importance of Grounding

DSC_1836

Once again today’s message from Mary is about the importance of grounding. Those of you who don’t know grounding is connecting with Mother Nature by going barefoot or laying down on the earth and making a connection. This provides tremendous healing for us. If it is winter or too cold you can still ground in your boots. One piece of info I have recently learned is to in the winter find 2 branches to hold on to. And hold these braches as you sit in your winter gear and boots. And this will help you ground and make a connection in the winter. We plan to do this next winter ourselves. If you have to use a blanket  when  you lay on the ground make sure it is cotton nothing synthetic. Leather shoes are very helpful when walking nothing plastic like sneakers to enhance your connection. We’ve seen new footwear out there to with a hole in it to ground you. Scott and I always go barefoot all summer and well into the fall too at our local beaches. In fact Christmas Day last year we managed too get 1 hour in before it got too cold. The picture above is from that date.  A whole town in Alaska even healed themselves by grounding. There is a video out there  called Grounded on this. So go barefoot today and heal yourself!

The Healing Power of Pets

DSC_6337Scott and  are big animal lovers. We have always had cats or dogs are entire life and so today’s message from Mary is one of our favourite things to do in life–pet ownership. Mary wants you to know that having a pet heals you and raises your vibration. We certainly didn’t understand our pets were healing us during times of stress throughout our life. My first year of separation from my ex my kitty just put in body under my feet whenever I sat on the sofa and just purred my first year alone. I didn’t realize it she was healing me with her vibration of her purring. And pets are wonderful company for anyone lonely. My son recently got his first rescue kitty now that he is out on his own. He is very happy to have a beautiful kitty in his life again. I know that kitty will help heal parts of his life too and he is giving a rescued pet a wonderful home. Don’t forget about all of the pets out there in the shelters too. So take Mary’s advice today and become a pet owner.

Natural Ways To Cope This Winter

DSC_9210

Mary’s message today is for  those of us now dealing with Winter. Shorter days mean less daylight.  We are more susceptible to depression.  Embrace the Sunshine if you can.  Scott and I make sure we get out on every sunny Winter day on the weekend and go for beautiful Winter walks.    We even open the car sunroof and just enjoy the feel of the sunny day.  Sometimes we will add Beach Boy music or summer themed songs and  sing along.  The Sun makes you feel alive again.  Walking not only keeps us healthy but mentally stable too.  We walk in any weather just dress appropriately for it. When you exercise your body releases endorphins which are a feel good hormone and helps keep you happy  in the Winter. If getting outside is impossible because of the cold or too much snow I have a portable day lamp for Seasonal Afftective  Disorder  which I pull out and we stand in front of for a short amount of time.  It helps elevate your mood naturally.  We put on good music or I  play an instrument while we stand there to help make time pass. We also  watch  only funny movies and sitcoms. A good belly roll heals everything. That has been documented over the years. Dramas do not put you in a higher vibration. Another thing we do is eat very healthy lots of veggies and fruits.  Stay away from junk food it is filled with preservatives, sugar, bad fats and GMO’s. I know from experience eating junk food does not elevate your mood. If you must have chocolate  look for a high  percentage cocoa find quality brand made from real ingredients  not chemicals.

Keep It Natural This Winter

DSC_0624

It’s hard to believe but it is almost  Winter.    Mary’s message today is all about the upcoming flu season.  She wants to remind us to eat healthy, reduce stress and do natural remedies instead of pharmaceuticals.  Eating healthy is very important. Our favourite site is Dr.  Mercola (mercola.com).   He has great knowledge about basic nutrition and how to treat  ailments with natural remedies.    Even when it gets   cold here we still get outdoors to embrace Mother Nature.  We love to walk in the woods or along the beach and  this  certainly keeps us healthy reducing stress too.   Scott and I have never had the flu shot and have seen so many people sicker  than when they started in our opinion . Our favourite natural treatment is Oil of  Oregano diluted in olive oil.  It kills a lot of bugs. We buy it at a health food store. They can give you the info on the dosage. And if you are taking  certain pharmaceuticals  you need to talk with   the health food  store staff whether you can safely take it with your prescription.  Raw garlic is another favourite we take to kill bugs.  We chop up one clove  in the morning and one clove  in the evening for no more than one day or two. (Too much garlic can be toxic.)  Heated garlic does not work it must be raw.   We explain we just had Caesar Salad to explain our breath. And have you ever heard of Aerobic Oxygen? It is liquid oxygen you put into your water and then drink.  It can kill bugs too.  We keep it in our medicine cabinet too.  It does  not  mix with certain pharmaceuticals  so talk to the health food store  as to whether  or not you can take it  safely with your prescription.
