One of our favorite topics from Mary is how the joy and energy of pets can raise your vibration. They just have such an amazing way of communicating with us on their own level, and for many of us it really speaks to our inner energy. Pets are beautiful companions and make such great friends. “C” always reminds me of how her own kitty was so very healing for her when she went through her separation. Her kitty’s purring and snuggling up against her took her out of her negative energy and helped her heal both mentally as well as physically…her kitty really allowed her to just be and forget about her troubles.
A few years ago there was a stray kitty in the neighbourhood. “C’s” sister was visiting and started to feed the stray, who would often sit by the back door just waiting for something. “C” continued to feed him after her sister went home. At the time “C” was recovering from an injury so I found a mailing tube at work so she could feed the stray cat without too much effort…basically pouring the food down through the tube into a bowl. “C” felt horrible that she could not take the stray in, but she knew that her main priority was to continue to heal herself…taking care of her own kitty was about all she could handle at the time.
Luckily a neighbor took in the stray cat and he gave him a great home during his final years. He eventually passed because he had lots of ailments from living outside for most of his life. When “C” heard of his passing she felt so guilty about not doing more for him. Then one night the stray came to her a dream to say thank you for her kindness. This immediately made her feel so much better and not guilty anymore.
People and pets who have passed often can come to us in our dreams. I have heard so many stories over the years. I think you just have to be open to this happening…and it might.
In a recent message from Mary she had a question. What do you do with negative energy? It’s all around us isn’t it? It’s in the news, it’s in the media… we have friends, family and co-workers who love to vent, and love to complain. But what do you do with that energy? Do you entertain the energy? Do you feed it? Do you add to it? Do you allow it to grow? It’s easy to do isn’t it?
Mary wanted to remind us that we have choices when dealing with negativity. We can do a few things. We can defuse the negativity by trying to turn the conversation into a positive one…or at least neutralize the negativity; we can have that honest conversation and remind the individual that they are spreading a negative message and share with them the impact it has on others…most people don’t realize how negative they really are; or we can simply walk away from the conversation and distance ourselves from the negativity ensuring that the negative energy at least doesn’t spread to us.
These are just a few recommendations you can try…we know there are more…feel free to share
Even when you don’t feel like you have much on the go, the next thing you know time is just gone, and you end up not accomplishing everything you wanted to accomplish.
You end up losing focus and you can potentially start to let things slip. That includes taking care of yourself, your health and your own needs. So if you are feeling drained, and your energy is low take time to heal and recharge.
But wait…that goes for your crystals too. If you are a person who likes to surround yourself with crystals or healing stones, and you like the benefit of the energy they provide don’t forget to take care of them too…If you rely on crystals and stones there is the possibility that you have drained their energy and that they are no longer operating at their full potential…it’s not good for you, it’s not good for them…so your stones and crystals may need to be recharged.

A few weeks ago “C” and I went for a walk at one of our favorite parks. It’s a beautiful park…one of the oldest in our city…it is heavily populated with trees, plus there are open spaces for families and friends to get together…there are walking paths, birds, squirrels and the occasional racoon…and there is beautiful view of the harbour which opens up to the ocean. Since “C” and I have been together it seems to be our go to place to connect with nature and ground ourselves. There’s a beautiful and soothing energy to the park. We find it a wonderful place to connect with the universe, connect with nature, connect with each other and heal.
On this particular day there was fresh snow on the ground. We had travelled our regular route and “C” decided to sit for a while and take in the view of the ocean. I decided to continue my walk for a few more minutes before joining “C”. As I retraced our walk I couldn’t help but notice our footprints in the snow. At first I thought it was amusing and would try silly things like placing my feet in the exact same steps…then I would alter my footsteps to change the existing patterns…but what started to happen was that the more I concentrated on our footsteps the more I could feel our recent energy. I could feel the emotions we were experiencing no more than an hour before…the more I connected to our earlier energy the further back I could connect with our older energy…to previous trips to the park…to a few years ago when we had meet for the first time in the park…I could feel the energy of our new found love at the time…I could even take it further back to the energy that we had left behind when we would visit the park before we even meet…even when we were children.
It wasn’t that that I was recalling memories…I could actually feel our energy swirling around my heart…reminding me that the energy we share with those we love is an amazing, beautiful, and powerful connection.
So try to tap into that energy….keep those connections…look within…look towards your heart…continue to grow, continue to love and continue to heal!
