Once again today’s message from Mary is about the importance of grounding. Those of you who don’t know grounding is connecting with Mother Nature by going barefoot or laying down on the earth and making a connection. This provides tremendous healing for us. If it is winter or too cold you can still ground in your boots. One piece of info I have recently learned is to in the winter find 2 branches to hold on to. And hold these braches as you sit in your winter gear and boots. And this will help you ground and make a connection in the winter. We plan to do this next winter ourselves. If you have to use a blanket when you lay on the ground make sure it is cotton nothing synthetic. Leather shoes are very helpful when walking nothing plastic like sneakers to enhance your connection. We’ve seen new footwear out there to with a hole in it to ground you. Scott and I always go barefoot all summer and well into the fall too at our local beaches. In fact Christmas Day last year we managed too get 1 hour in before it got too cold. The picture above is from that date. A whole town in Alaska even healed themselves by grounding. There is a video out there called Grounded on this. So go barefoot today and heal yourself!
Believing Is Seeing . . . .And This Is According To Mary Magdalene (Lady Nada)!
Mary’s message today is to protect our environment. Don’t pollute our oceans or throw things away. The garbage in our own city that people just lazily toss into our fields and the sides of our highways obviously thrown from a car. You are hurting Mother Nature with trash. Scott and I both raised our children to never throw things away like that. We are always are shocked in this day and age to see the mess that is out there and these children were not raised differently. Don’t forget to reuse, reduce and recycle whenever possible. Make sure you raise your children that way. If you see some trash pick it up and recycle or compost it if you can. We are made from Mother Nature so we are all hurting ourselves when you don’t take care of her.
Believing Is Seeing . . . . And This Is According To Mary Magdalene (Lady Nada)!
Today Mary’s message deals with one of our pet peeves—people who are out in nature but glued to their Smart Phone or Music device. We need to leave these devices in the car or turned off while in nature. You cannot listen to the birds sing, see the colors of the forest or hear the crashing of the waves if you are connected to some sort of technology. You are missing a beautiful connection to Mother Nature and your higher self. Your higher self speaks to you when you are quiet and can guide you day to day. And Mother Nature heals and raises our vibration so why wouldn’t you want to be quiet to hear her speak to you. So next time you are at the park leave your technology turned off.
In a recent message from Mary she showed me the natural balance of our planet as it was at one time.
As humans we worked within this balance. We had our own communities and we did what we needed in order to survive. We farmed, we fished, we hunted… but only what we needed. We drew on the natural resources around us to make life livable and comfortable. It wasn’t easy, and it was a true balancing act. We had respect for nature and our surroundings…and even though the term sustainability was not in our vocabulary at the time, we were living it.
But times changed and so did our greed… as well as our attitudes. Most of it was pure ignorance … we had a minimal understanding of the impact we had on our environment at the time. We simply wanted more…all in the name of progress, convenience, commerce and power. The next thing we knew we were polluting our beautiful planet and diminishing our resources at a rate where the balance would be changed forever.
I realize there is no going back to those days, but we must always keep nature in our thoughts…what are we doing to our planet? What could we be doing to lessen the impact of the way society lives today? What can we do in terms of reducing our carbon footprint? What can we do to reduce the amount of waste we produce? What can we do in order to conserve energy? What alternatives can we use when choosing products or services?
Here are a few suggestions (and there are many more):
When you are sick try treating your body with natural and holistic options such as oil of oregano and raw garlic instead of buying cold and flu products from the drug store.
Instead of throwing away unwanted items, try giving them away or donate to charity.
Do your research before purchasing painting products or wood treatment products for treating wooden decks and fences….you might be surprised at what is out there and better for the environment.
The usual advice: walk don’t drive…reduce, reuse, recycle…compost…use cloth bags when shopping…watch your energy usage…
Vote with your wallet…contact your big box retailer and tell them you want greener products.
Buy organic if you can. Buy local if you can.
Don’t buy into the latest and greatest anything…it is all marketing…ask yourself “Is this something that I really need, or am I just being swayed by a marketing campaign?”.
Be careful with plastic products. Convenient yes, but the health risks are still unknown…(there are over 200 chemicals floating around in our bloodstream because of the food, the packaging and products we consume).
Research Holistic health options including dentistry….there are dentist who use x-ray machines that produce minimal radiation…so ask your dentist what they are using…also try to eliminate your use of fluoride…research is showing that this is not a healthy treatment option.
…anyway these are a few things off the top of my head…there are hundreds of other recommendations…the bottom line is be kind to mother nature and she will be kind to all of us!
